Definitely
yhe best player we have ever tested. Plays and recors MP3s and DIVX, has a great
optional Camera, Camcorder module, reads Memory cards from digital cameras with optional
modules, has an amazing interface and a huge 3/8" color LCD screen. I cant say
enough about this one. |

Large size,
difficulty to upgrade and the fact that you can't upload your songs back to you computer
are a big set back along with the fact that you must use Creative's software which
according to many often gives the dreaded blue screen |
Has a great
user interface, problem is this thing is LARGE. It is slightly smaller than it
predecessor but not much. Largest in the class and I feel this will be a huge
negative. Firewire is good. Problem is it still does not recognize as a hard
drive so stuck with Creative's garbage software. I don't see this being a popular
player except for those who buy just for the name. Creative should stick to sound
cards. |
A decent
player but with a few drawbacks. Larger than the Archos products and only USB 1.1 support.
Transfers of songs to the unit are very slow since they must go through some
special software. Also a pet peeve of mine is the fact that it does not recognize as
a hard drive but you must use their software. The playmodes are good with a good
user interface. I don't like the horizontal form factor of the unit. It is
definitely not a portable. Also you can NOT load your songs back from the unit to a
computer. Would like it a lot better with USB2 or firewire and if you didn't have to
use their annoying software. All initial reviews are bad on this one. Uploads take
hours, much slower than USB 1.1 because of the brutal software every song must go through. |
A good player
but lacks the easy ability to upgrade the hard drive as larger drives become
available. Very pricey. Again you must use the player's own software and this
adds limitations to the player. |

I have a tendency to be opposed to this since it allows for too many problems.

only displays the song number and quality and not the ID3 tag but the small size makes up

car/home player for the buck. Doubles as an external hard drive. Uses USB
connections to quickly transfer files from your computer to your player... . Size is
a little big for many car dashes but the unit comes with a fully functional wired remote
with full LCD display. Navigation is easy and you can embed files up to 8 layers
deep. Now comes with a voice module
that speaks your songs and directories as you search...a great safety feature |
This is a
brand new home and car NMP3 players using a standard hard drive of any size. Price
is good and this player may have some potential. Will post review as soon as I get
the sample units this week. |
Company
has halted production for some reason....possibly the ridiculous price??? What can I say? A great player and probably the most
advanced player on the market for the car if you want to spend triple the price of the Neo
car Jukebox. You can not upgrade the player yourself and it must use its own
software. For the huge amount of music you will upload USB can be slow and an IDE
interface would be an improvement. |
